What's Happening

Well Patrick had a sleepover with a few classmates last night and went to see Pirates of the Caribbean 3 again. They apparently stayed up all night so when Patrick came home, they had to coax him out of the car and he curled up in a chair and crashed. We hope he has enough energy to go to practice today.

Hannah spent part of the morning at the pool with JoAnna and then went onto practice this afternoon.

Thank goodness for the short week. It is averaging to 100's this week with a slight chance of some sprinkles toward the end of the weekend. We need rain so bad.

If you want me to drop you an email when the blog is updated, let me know and I will add you to the list.

Memorial Day

We hope that everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend. We had a relaxing time and then Monday we were invited to go with our friends the Baxters up the street on thier boat. We had a blast as you can see from the pictures.

All of us had a great time on the tube with Patrick, JoAnna and Eric getting thrown. Hannah was able to stay in the tube the whole time.
That afternoon, JoAnna got in the water to try and ski. Well, she popped up like a natural and made it all the way down the river.

We both agree that we used muscles that we forgot we had.

Pirates of the Carribean 3

Well, It was great, a must see movie!!!

Even though it was not the 12:01 am showing (we went to the 8:00 pm) The theater was full and lots of people were dressed up. There was sword fighting before the movie.

It was a night to remember. We recomend it to everyone.

JoAnna

JoAnna Started Taekwondo this year. She has excelled in her class to the point of everyone in her class views her as an overachiever and the cause of more push-ups.

She began thinking that it would be something to help just let her focus on herself for that fraction of the day. She has ended up with a fitness program that is the envy of many. Not that she needed it but now she can beat me up.

She competed as well in the competition and did very well.

Patrick

Patrick started doing Taekwondo and took off! He moved quickly from the regular class to the Black Belt Club to the Leadership Club. At first he concentrated on his forms and then got into the sparing.
His teacher Master Richards had nothing but high Praises for him as he advanced through the belts. He convinced Patrick to got to the tournament here in Savannah with outstanding results.
Patrick grabbed 1st Place in Sparring, Forms and Weapons and 2nd place in extreme weapons. He has decided that his goal is to be State Champion!

Current Family Events

( Quick Note! the date is weird to spoof the system so the Family News always appears first. )

Hello all!

Here is the happenings for the summer as best we know them currently.

Hannah and Patrick finish school this Friday the 25th. We will be starting the summer with the Pirates of the Carribean 3 movie the 24th. Then it is onto the summer events. Patrick and Hannah have gymnastics and Tae-Kwon-Do three days a week for several hours each. Hannah will be traveling to Tenneesee for a gymnastics camp, then we will travel to the islands for Elisabeth and Rob's wedding and then Patrick will travel to Atlanta for a competition. Somewhere in there we will relax a little.

Eric

I had my birthday and had a great day. I got to act like a cat and relax. We went to church and then had lunch with Maryanna (JoAnna's Mom) Downtown.

I am going to go back to school finally. I will start attending Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah to work on my Information Technology Degree. Wish me luck!
