BRAG Day 2

Another long hot ride with hills that would not quit. Going through 2 large bottles of water every 15 miles.

This was one of the farms we passed on the way. Stopped to take a picture and because there was shade.

Heidei, myself, Linda and Jourgen at a rest stop. I met them all last year on the ride so was glade to have them to ride with again. Heidei and Jourgen lived in Gottening near Uslar whet I base camped while in Germany so lots of good stories.

We climbed this hill while being followed by these trucks. It was interesting to say the least.

Selfie as I was passed by a big John Deere tractor. He went into the othe lane to get around me.

BRAG Day 1

60+ miles to Thompson Ga. It was hot and long. They have these strange things called HILLS that we don't have in Savannah. The town has turned out in droves and throwing a big party for the Riders. Had a great dinner and now listening to Daniel Johnson Band performing at the railroad depot.

0 Day. At the 2014 BRAG Start Point

Bike unloaded and ready.

Got my camp site set and ready. A good nights sleep and hit the road in the morning.
Hannah was getting in on the pictures. She said she may want to do this next year. I may have to hold her to that.

Armstrong Lyrical Youth Orchestra Fall Concert

The Youth Orchestra had it's fall concert and I have been slow getting it up due to camera issues. As the video starts all the information will scroll across the screen.  I want to send out a special thanks to John Ratliff for his video files.  My video camera decided to spaz out on me during the performance. John graciously sent me a copy of his so I could add them to our site for family.

Hannah was first chair last and this season.  She has  been excelling and enjoying playing both at school and with the orchestra.

Flute Choir at the Mall

The Armstrong Atlantic Youth Flute Choir performed at the local mall this weekend to entertain the holiday shoppers.

After playing a selection of music, the group split off into quartets and performed giving other players a break..
People were walking in front of the camera because we are in the middle of the mall. so they aren't being rude.
