Mt. Hood

One thing the kids love to do is go to Mt. Hood and play in the snow. We hiked Beacon rock earlier and then drove up the mountain watching the thermometer go from 76 degrees down to 48 degrees.

While in the lodge, someone started talking with Patrick because of his Georgia Bulldogs sweatshirt and found out that they had moved from Savannah a couple of years earlier and were at Mt. Hood showing relative around that have come to visit from Vidalia GA.

This is one of the areas where the water from the snow melt comes down. Every once in a while, they have to rebuilt the road way and bridge at this section because it gets washed away.
